Professorial Pinups
Gang members often use graffiti to mark their turf. And professors, according to a recent study by a Wellesley College professor, may not be all that different.
R. Steven Schiavo, a professor of psychology, had often observed his colleagues' elaborately decorated office doors, but he wondered if Wellesley students took note.
In the study, Mr. Schiavo showed 60 slides depicting such doors to 15 students in an introductory psychology class and asked them to rate their impressions.
