Professor Said to Orchestrate Destruction of Anti-Abortion Crosses

Police officers at Northern Kentucky University are investigating the destruction of an anti-abortion display on the campus that apparently was orchestrated by a professor, according to an article today in The Enquirer of Cincinnati. The professor, who holds tenure, told the newspaper that outside of class she invited students to “express their freedom-of-speech rights” to dismantle a display of 400 crosses, each representing an aborted fetus, that had been set up by a campus anti-abortion group. The university’s president criticized the professor, but did not say what consequences she might face.
