Professor Convicted of Lying About Vandalism Incident; Diploma Mill Sues Over Diploma-Mill Law; Renowned Scientist Charged With Sex Abuse

PROFESSOR CONVICTED: A former visiting professor of social psychology at Claremont McKenna College who said her car had been vandalized and painted with racist and sexist slurs has been convicted of lying to the police about the incident. A jury in Pomona, Calif., found Kerri F. Dunn guilty in August of attempted insurance fraud and filing a false police report. The professor maintains her innocence and plans to appeal.
