Minnesota Press and University Get $672,000 Grant for New Interdisciplinary Research Effort
The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation has awarded the University of Minnesota Press and a university institute a grant of $672,000 for a new program dedicated to interdisciplinary research and publication, the university announced on Tuesday.
Under the program, called Quadrant, the press will join with the university's Institute for Advanced Study to recruit scholars from multiple fields to work in groups called collaboratives. They will focus on four areas: design and architecture,
