Presidents Explore Dissolving Line Between Division I-A and I-AA
College football may be on the verge of its biggest reshuffling in 30 years.
Presidents in Division I colleges voted in April to examine the idea of doing away with the distinction between Division I-A and I-AA, which represent big-time and not-quite-big-time football, respectively, in the National Collegiate Athletic Association.
