President of Johns Hopkins U. to Retire in December
William R. Brody, president of the Johns Hopkins University, who has overseen the expansion of one of the country's leading research institutions, will retire at the end of the year.
Mr. Brody, who is 64, has served as president for 12 years, during which time he has championed biomedical-engineering research at the university, established several new programs and institutes, refurbished the university's campuses, and helped to raise billions of dollars.
