'Poor Decision Making' at the U. of Florida

To the Editor:

As if being a Lombardi-era graduate of the University of Florida wasn't reason enough to loathe Adam W. Herbert and his smoke-filled-backroom antics, your article "No Long-Term President and No Prospects" (March 9) gave me even more reason.

The article, insightful and truthful, is a perfect example of why the University of North Florida had better bar the door. Because if Herbert's complete demolition of John V. Lombardi's fantastic, open-door administration --
