Poll Finds That Most Young People Believe File Sharing Is Wrong
A poll of attitudes on and perceptions about file sharing, released in June by the New Jersey Institute of Technology, indicates that most people believe that file sharing of copyrighted material is stealing. But a majority of respondents also said file sharing should not be restricted.
The results of the survey, of 600 people across the country, came soon after the college banned all file sharing on its campus networks.
