Political Scientists, Protests, and the Timing of Changes
To the Editor:
"Storming the Palace in Political Science" (September 21) describes the new policies announced by the incoming editor of the American Political Science Review, Lee Sigelman, and attributes these changes to the "Perestroika" movement, which first surfaced in mid-September 2000. However, Professor Sigelman outlined his proposed policies to the Council of the American Political Science Association when he was appointed, on August 31, 2000.
