Political-Science Journal Seeks to Unite Diverse Subfields; Studies Purport to Show Bias in APSA's Other Journals

FRESH PERSPECTIVES: The photograph on the cover of the debut issue of Perspectives on Politics, a new quarterly journal published by the American Political Science Association, features Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld sitting serenely at a microphone. Behind Mr. Rumsfeld (but apparently not puncturing his mood) are antiwar activists who have infiltrated the hearing room where he is giving testimony.
