Political Patronage Was Rife at U. of Medicine and Dentistry, Report Says
The Garden State's chief public medical school appears to have been a hotbed of political patronage.
The practice was so pervasive at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, also known as UMDNJ, that a formal rating system assigned numerical rankings to job seekers based on their political connections, according to a report released last week by a federal monitor.
