Political Correctness Meets the 'Greatest Generation'

To the Editor:

My God, what pretentious drivel from so-called experts in the June 15 "Deconstruct This" on war heroes ("Talking About My Generation," The Review)! Why can't these intellectuals just agree that the so-called greatest generation fought and won a great war, without dragging all the politically correct and politically current issues of racism, sexism, and antiviolence into their observations?
