Police Rule Death at Hillsdale College a Suicide

Police in Hillsdale, Mich., have confirmed that Lissa J. Roche committed suicide hours after alleging that she had been having an affair with her father-in-law, George C. Roche III, who was then the president of Hillsdale College.

The police investigative file, released last week, confirmed some of the rumors that have scandalized the small, liberal-arts college where Mr. Roche was president for 28 years. But the report did not substantiate whether the affair
