Competing Visions for Farmland Set Johns Hopkins Against Donor's Family

The white post-and-rail fence that surrounds Elizabeth Banks's old Belward Farm shows some soot-colored streaking, probably exhaust particulates from all the cars that pass here on Darnestown Road and Muddy Branch Road. Donna Baron, in her Subaru, sees the grime and a patch of muddy erosion on a bank leading up to the fence.
