Pitt Is Pressured to Extend Health Benefits to Partners of Gay Employees
Professors and students are turning up the heat on the University of Pittsburgh to extend health benefits to the partners of gay employees.
This month, more than 100 people held the second rally on the issue in six months. Some of the students who helped organize the rally were among more than a dozen who staged a hunger strike on the topic last spring.
A national gay-rights organization has also gotten involved, asking its members to send e-mail
