Pitt Hires 8 Biodefense Experts from Johns Hopkins; Hispanic Coalition Opposes Choice for Maricopa Chancellor
ARSENAL OF EXPERTS: The University of Pittsburgh has added some specialists from the Johns Hopkins University to its stockpile of biodefense talent. That announcement came just days before the National Institutes of Health named the university as the recipient of a $17.5-million grant to build a secure laboratory to study dangerous microbes.
