Physicist in India Accused of Plagiarism
More than 40 leading scientists have lent their support to a Web site that accuses the vice chancellor of India's Kumaun University of systematically plagiarizing the published research of foreign authors, including the work of a physicist at Stanford University.
The scientists charge that the vice chancellor, Balwant Singh Rajput, has co-written at least four physics papers whose contents were lifted from international journals. In the latest and most blatant incident, Mr. Rajput
