Philadelphia Jury Awards $5-Million to Tenured Professor at Penn
The University of Pennsylvania will appeal a jury verdict ordering it to pay $5-million to a tenured veterinary professor for violating his employment contract.
The Philadelphia Common Pleas Court jury also found that three university administrators -- including Michael T. Aiken, now the chancellor of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign -- had conspired against the professor, Jorge F.
