Personal Outreach Is a Private University's Key to Growth, Business Officers Are Told

Belmont University believes in the personal touch.
Before freshmen start classes this fall, the Christian institution in Nashville will have had multiple personal contacts with the students and their parents. University financial-aid counselors call every new student to answer questions, and senior administrators, including the president, travel to various cities to meet with parents of accepted students.
