People Who Read Food Labels Eat Less Fat, Scientists Say
People who read the nutritional labels on food products tend to consume less fat than those who don't, according to a report published in the January issue of the Journal of the American Dietetic Association.
The study, which was conducted by researchers at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, is the first to examine the effect on the American diet of the standardized "Nutrition Facts"
