Pentagon to Look Into MIT Missile Research
The Department of Defense plans to investigate allegations of fraud involving missile-defense research by scientists from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, but an MIT professor who has criticized the research says he does not trust the investigators to be independent and earnestly look for wrongdoing.
MIT itself requested the investigation of alleged fraud by scientists at its Lincoln Laboratory in connection with their involvement in a 1998 study of software planned for use
