Pentagon May Tighten Restrictions on Foreign Researchers
The U.S. Department of Defense, which is reviewing regulations governing the use of foreign researchers in military-sponsored projects, may begin adding language to many of its contracts that would require university laboratories to obtain special licenses to employ foreign scholars.
The proposed change, which would take effect in 10 months, comes in response to an audit by the department's inspector general, which found that some industries and universities are unwittingly granting
