Pennsylvania University System Weighs Admissions Plan Based on Class Rank
Pennsylvania's state-university system is considering a plan to automatically admit the top 15 percent of graduates from every public high school in the state.
If the system adopts the proposal, Pennsylvania could join a growing number of states that have embraced such class-rank plans to try to increase the enrollment of minority students.
The 14 institutions in the system are Bloomsburg, California, Cheyney, Clarion, East Stroudsburg, Edinboro,
