Pennsylvania College Offers Major in Marriage and Family Studies

Now, you really can earn an "M.R.S." degree.

Allentown College of Saint Francis de Sales began offering a major in marriage and family studies last fall. The major is intended to prepare students for the challenges they may face as spouses and parents, according to Brian M. Kane, an assistant professor of theology, who organized the major.

The major's core courses are in theology and philosophy.
