Penn State Must Reveal Football Coach's Salary, State Supreme Court Says

Pennsylvania State University must make public the salary level of its head football coach, Joe Paterno, the state's Supreme Court has ruled.

The university has no plans to appeal the case, a Penn State spokesman said, but it was unclear when the information would be revealed. While the ruling, issued on Tuesday, clears the retirement system for state employees to disclose the figures, officials with the system were not available on Tuesday evening.
