Paying Professors Who Resign
To the Editor:
Concerning "N.C. State Ordered to Pay $300,000" (The Chronicle, July 15), about a professor who received thousands of dollars of salary money after he was allowed to resign when sexual-harassment complaints were filed against him, I wish I could say that this was the first time I had heard of professors' receiving money after such a resignation.
