Paycheck Checkup

How some institutions affected by Katrina are handling payments to employees:

Delgado Community College

Delgado will pay all full-time staff and faculty until it reopens, which it plans to do in January. Some employees with specific expertise are being deployed to work in Baton Rouge or other sites, but managers understand that it may take some people extra days to report to the new location, Chancellor Alex Johnson said.
