Patent Lawsuit Filed Over Diet Aids

The patenting foundation of the University of Wisconsin at Madison filed a patent-infringement lawsuit last month against a company that sells dietary supplements used for toning muscles and reducing body fat.

The lawsuit, filed in federal court in Madison, seeks an injunction to halt the sale of the supplements, which are found in products called ThermoPower CLA With Oolong Tea and SunPower CLA. According to the lawsuit, the seller of those products, and others covered by the
