Pat Robertson's Regent U. Saves William Tyndale College From Closure
"The miracle has happened!"
With that exclamation, Jerry D. Bringard, president of William Tyndale College, announced that the nondenominational Christian institution, which seemed doomed to closure, will stay open after all. Regent University, the Christian graduate institution founded by the religious broadcaster Pat Robertson, has agreed to provide a $1-million matching grant to Tyndale, which is in suburban Detroit.
