Part of U. of Utah Campus Is Designated as a Nature Preserve
The University of Utah has set aside almost one-third of its campus for a nature preserve.
The 485 acres, in the foothills of the Wasatch Mountains, will be sealed off forever from construction of new buildings, parking lots, or roadways. Mining, excavation, and dumping will also be prohibited.
