Part-Timers Struggle to Finish
Over the years, research has shown that part-time students lag behind their full-time peers, and new data from the U.S. Department of Education show that the situation hasn't gotten much better with time. A report, "Persistence and Attainment of 2003-04 Beginning Postsecondary Students: After Three Years," found that two-thirds of part-time students left higher education without a degree.
