Panel to Study Whether U.S. Laws and Regulations Are Deterring Foreign Students
Worried that the United States might be losing its edge in the competition for foreign students, a new committee plans to examine whether U.S. laws and visa regulations are hurting efforts to attract students from abroad.
The Committee on American Leadership in International Education will also study possible ways to improve the recruitment of international students, including better coordination by U.S. institutions of their overseas recruiting
