Panel of College and Industrial Leaders Urges Obama to Ease Limits on Scientific Exports and Visas

A National Academies study panel is calling on Barack Obama to ease federal limits on high-technology exports and visas for scientists and researchers as soon as he takes office as president, warning that the risks to the nation’s economy and security preclude waiting any longer for Congressional action.
