Panel Supports Climate Change Research
The National Academy of Sciences jumped into a simmering climate debate June 22 when it concluded "with a high level of confidence" that the earth was warmer now than at any time since the year 1600, and that it was "plausible" that recent temperatures were the highest of the past millennium.
