Panel Says South Korean Researcher Fabricated All Cloned Stem-Cell Lines
The superstar South Korean stem-cell researcher, Woo Suk Hwang, has turned out to be a master of deception. An investigative panel convened by Seoul National University reported last week that Dr. Hwang never managed to create stem-cell lines from cloned human embryos, as he had reported in much-heralded papers in Science in 2004 and 2005.
