Panel Lays Out Agenda for Improving Federal Policies on Academic Research
Federal administrators have issued a list of 10 areas in which government agencies should adjust their policies to help improve the efficiency and productivity of the academic research they finance. The topics include support for interdisciplinary research, large research facilities, and graduate students and postdoctoral scientists.
