Palmtop Computers Prove Useful in Class

Wendy R. Leibowitz's article "Colleges Start to Ask Whether Students Should Use Laptops in Tests" (December 17) raised some interesting issues, but failed to recognize how rapidly technology is changing the way students use computers in the classroom.
