Pagans Get a Pass
Happy Beltane, everybody!
OK, fine, Beltane — an ancient Celtic holiday celebrated by some modern pagans — won't roll around until May. But we're just trying to get into the spirit, so to speak, after learning that Marshall University will allow pagan students to be excused from classes on their faith's holidays.
The decision came after George Fain, a sophomore sociology major, asked to be let out of class for Samhain, sometimes referred to as the Celtic
