Outlook in Doubt for Bill to Benefit Recipients of Hope Tax Credit
At Issue: Expanding the types of college-related expenses that people can count when using federal Hope tax credits. The credits allow people in their first two years of college or their parents to claim up to $1,500 against taxes they otherwise would owe.
