Budget request

  • For 2006-7, the second year of the biennium, the University of Maine System has asked for a $5-million supplement, on top of the $183.1-million already budgeted.
  • For 2006-7, lawmakers have approved $43.3-million, a 2.6-percent increase, for the Maine Community College System. The system does not plan to make a supplemental request.
