Oshkosh Education Dean Pitches In as Substitute Teacher
Donald M. Mocker has a steady job as dean of the school of education at the University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh, but he just filled out an application to be a substitute teacher in a local school district.
Mr. Mocker is not switching careers. He is one of 25 faculty members at the university who are lending their services to the Oshkosh public schools in response to a shortage of substitute
