Organizers of TA Union at Yale Lose Unofficial Vote on Representation
In an unofficial election, graduate students at Yale University have rejected unionization, surprising union organizers who had expected the symbolic vote to bolster their push for recognition.
Opponents topped union supporters 694 to 651. About 2,100 graduate students were eligible to vote in the election, which was supervised by the League of Women Voters.
