Online-Education Survey Finds Unexpectedly High Enrollment Growth
Enrollment in online-education courses grew tremendously last year and administrators expect even more growth this year, according to a new report.
The report, from a study now in its second year, was based on an online survey of chief academic officers at 1,170 institutions that was conducted last spring. The study was financed by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation and run by the Sloan Consortium, an organization that supports online learning, and the Sloan Center for OnLine Education,
