On Its Web Site, Education Dept. Briefly Accuses Congress of Betrayal
In Washington, the war of words over student aid got downright nasty this month.
A posting on the Education Department's Web site described Congress as "betraying students" by not embracing Bush-administration proposals to fix a billion-dollar shortfall in the Pell Grant program.
