Oklahoma College Branching Into China

This month, Oklahoma City University became the first American institution to win the Chinese government's approval to set up a full-fledged branch campus in China.

The opening of the branch campus, set for September 2003, is a sign of loosening in government policies that have kept out foreign universities in the past, observers say.
