Ohio U. Settles Topless-Photo Case
Ohio University and a former photography professor at its main campus will pay $350,000 to settle a lawsuit brought by a former student who says the professor coerced her into posing topless.
The former student, Rebecca Humes, will receive an unspecified part of the money from Larry Nighswander, who resigned as a professor of photojournalism at Ohio last summer. The remainder of the settlement will be paid by the university and its insurance company.
