Official Seeks National Increase in Funds for Agriculture Research
The head of an Illinois organization that has successfully lobbied for more money for agriculture research in the Land of Lincoln is now setting his sights on the national arena.
Terry Wolf, chairman of the Illinois Council on Food and Agricultural Research, heads a group that seeks more federal funds for agricultural studies. The group wants an additional $1-billion in federal agricultural research funds in each of the next five years.
