Noted Film Scholar Moves From U. of Iowa to Yale; Former UCLA President Is Interim Chief at U. of Florida; U. of Michigan Law School Hires 8
You don't find too many scholars who spend their whole careers teaching at the same university where they earned their Ph.D.'s. Dudley Andrew, a film scholar at the University of Iowa, is one. So, after 30 productive years in Iowa City, he figured he'd take his time in deciding whether to move for a plum job at Yale University.
