Not Their Father's Dorm Food
Menus could soon take on a whole new flavor at Dartmouth College if an effort to bring local food to campus dining halls gets cooking.
The college's 13 dining halls serve more than 12,000 meals a day -- about 2.5 million meals per year. Starting as early as this fall, some of those meals could be made in part from ingredients produced in the surrounding area.
