Northeastern Proposal for Post-Tenure Review Goes Too Far, Critics Say
A committee of faculty members and administrators at Northeastern University has proposed a policy on post-tenure review that some faculty members fear goes too far and is more likely than comparable policies elsewhere to result in the dismissal of tenured professors.
The policy was proposed by a seven-member committee put together by the university's Faculty Senate, which includes both professors and administrators.
Currently, professors at Northeastern are reviewed each year
